Tuesday 24th May 2011: Evening Sonar Sailing in the Gareloch: Race 5

Wednesday, 25 May 2011 - Secretary

As it might have been noticed it had been slightly windy over Scotland this week!!  It was still blowing very hard in the Gareloch at 3.30pm so racing was put on hold!!  The sonars were meant to be being towed round to Tarbert on the Wednesday for the Bell Lawrie Scottish Series so breakages would not be popular!  Also three of the racing marks were on the beach and the club dinghy was awash. Two pipers bravely went out to race when the wind dropped at about 6.30pm.
